Client: The Children’s Movement of Florida
Brief: The Future Project is imagining a new early learning future in Florida by building a coalition grounded in parent and educator voices. The Let’s Talk Listening Tour report provides a summary of themes discovered while engaging owners and directors of early care and education centers, educators, and parents.
Goal: Create a report that highlights the themes discovered during the Let’s Talk Listening Tour. The colors need to stay consistent with the client’s branding.
Key Piece/s: Visualization of many quotes in an organized fashion, while giving a summary of each of the themes. Photos used to bring a more personable presentation.
Materials created: 64-page report and cover.

Key Piece/s: Showcase the recommendations in an easy-to-read manner, with a differentiator between government action and civic action. Utilize a repeatable layout for each section, while keeping it visually interesting.

Reading Reform Across America : A Survey of State Legislatures
Client: Albert Shanker Institute
Brief: The project looks at state literacy/reading legislation and what the laws say about what needs to happen system wide to improve reading instruction and achieve better reading outcomes.
Goal: Create a report with numerous figures, tables, boxes, and photos, with the design elements created from the main visualization. The color palette is kept from the Albert Shanker Institute brand, with less focus on the main purple.
Key Piece/s: The Reading Improvement System Visualization - Legislation is more focused on teachers rather than on students. Screening and assessment inadvertently supports both.
Materials created: 52-page report, cover, executive summary, social media shares, web banners, PowerPoint deck.

Client: The School Finance Indicators Database
Brief: A national analysis of the relationship between K-12 revenue composition—that is, the percentage of funding that comes from state versus local sources—and the adequacy, equity, and stability of school spending.
Goal: Create a white paper that showcases the data in a comprehensive manner. While the content plays the role of educating and communicating a point, the graphic helps to emphasize and accentuate that point.
Key Piece/s: Many graphs, figures, and charts to stylize and present in a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing manner.

Goal: Create a white paper that showcases the data in a comprehensive manner. While the content plays the role of educating and communicating a point, the graphic helps to emphasize and accentuate that point. Keep in Albert Shanker Institute brand colors.
